CHOW LUCK CLUB was established in June 2021 as a Facebook community for impassioned food lovers to share food finds while New Zealand was in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was an extension of a personal blog page Lincoln’s Table which food enthusiast and journalist Lincoln Tan started.
But what began as just a social media page has now expanded into an events, marketing and publishing house that prides itself as being a leader and authority on ethnic food, lifestyle and hospitality in New Zealand. Today, the Chow Luck Club community is about 20,000-strong on Facebook. It also has an active Instagram, Tik-Tok and Chinese social media community.
Chow Luck Club is headed by our chief foodie Bee Koh, who is a former educator from Singapore and also a passionate foodie. Chow Luck Club today runs food-related events from festivals, markets and workshops to walking food tours.
This digital platform, chowluckclub.com was launched in 2024 as a platform for food content to be told and shared, mainly through an insider’s lens.
