Our Land Bar at Cordis, Auckland is launching a new cocktail collection that promises to take Kiwis through their most cherished memories of growing up in New Zealand.
The collection, called Liquid Memories, is a celebration of the flavours, places and everyday moments that shape life in Aotearoa.
Inspired by childhood treats, family rituals, local landmarks and familiar routines, mixologists thoughtfully crafted the cocktails to evoke a sense of nostalgia while showcasing exceptional local ingredients and contemporary mixology.
Every drink tells a story, transforming iconic Kiwi memories into sophisticated cocktails that spark conversation and connection.
A playful creation called Dad's Ice Cream is inspired by the treasured tradition of stopping for hokey pokey ice cream after family dinners while the Dairy Run pays tribute to the after-school pilgrimage to the neighbourhood dairy. It draws inspiration from Pineapple Lumps candy, pocketfuls of loose change and the excitement of choosing your favourite sweet treat.
For those who appreciate bold flavours, Love It or Hate It embraces one of New Zealand's most iconic pantry staples - Marmite. This cocktail is unapologetically Kiwi, savoury, unexpected and guaranteed to divide opinion while leaving a lasting impression.
Beyond just childhood favourites, the collection also explores memories inspired by New Zealand's diverse landscapes, seasonal produce and the comforting rituals that connect generations.
The cocktails have been carefully designed to engage the senses, encouraging guests to reminisce while discovering new interpretations of familiar flavours.
The Liquid Memories cocktail menu will be available from Tuesday 21 July.
